Biographical Information:
Dr. Holderness has a wealth of real-life, practical
knowledge, years of experience and a reservoir of wisdom that he brings to his practice.
A gifted counselor, he has worked
with young children, teens and adults of all ages, from various walks of
life with varied beliefs.
During his years of counseling and teaching, Dr.
Holderness has worked extensively in education and in private
practice. He has a rich background in assisting individuals and
families and has provided premarital counseling in a church and non-church
setting, as well as marital counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, and
intense therapy to those who have been broken by the trials of life.
Dr. Holderness has worked with those in crisis, the depressed, the
abused, and people who simply need a little guidance and assistance. His background in university life, which includes teaching,
administration and student relations, prepared him to provide
supervision to trainees in marital and family therapy.
Dr. Holderness has been practicing since 1988. He has written a resource booklet on Attention Deficit Disorder,
designed for parents.
Personal Information:
Dr. Holderness and
his wife, Carol, have lived in Tulsa for over 25 years. They have
four children, are active members and lay ministers in their church and
are involved in the community.
